Older members may remember Frank Steiner KSG, a former Chairman of the Parliamentary and Public Affairs Committee (PPAC) who died peacefully on 24 February 2019 at the age of 96. According to his obituary in The Guardian, he was a Catholic from a Jewish family and a refugee from Austria who came to Britain on the Kindertransport in 1938. He joined the PPAC in 1982 and was its Chairman for many years. The PPAC remembered him at its meeting on 5 March. Our sympathy and prayers go to his family. May he rest in peace.
