The Catholic Union has submitted written evidence to the Public Bill Committee of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life ) Bill. The submission highlights the fact that the Bill does not give enough weight to what might be achieved by properly funded palliative care and by appropriate funding for end-of-life research. It also goes into detail on various Clauses and inconsistencies in the Bill as written.
