Catholic Union Summer Gathering 6 July 2024 – SOLD OUT
6 July
£26We are delighted to announce that the Catholic Union will be holding its annual Summer Gathering on Saturday 6 July 2024 at Worth Abbey, a community of Benedictine monks in a magnificent setting in West Sussex.
The Summer Gathering will begin at 11am closing with Holy Mass in the Abbey Church at 5pm. The day will include an address from our President, Baroness Hollins and a talk by Abbot Christopher Jamison. Abbot Christopher was Abbot of Worth from 2002-2010 and is currently Abbot President of the English Benedictine Congregation. He is well known through the BBC TV series “The Monastery” and as the author of books such as “Finding Sanctuary” and “Finding Happiness”.
The Summer Gathering is a chance to meet fellow members and staff of the Catholic Union in congenial surroundings. You will also have the chance to hear about topical developments such as the looming General Election and there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion, as well as time to explore the Abbey grounds.
Once again, we have managed to keep the price low at £26 per person. This includes lunch and refreshments. All members of the St Thomas More Circle of donors are entitled to a complimentary ticket but are of course still required to register. For more information about the St Thomas More Circle, please click here.
