St Thomas More Circle

Patrons, Benefactors and Supporters of the Catholic Union’s St Thomas More Circle attended Mass and a reception on the feast day of St Thomas More and St John Fisher last night at St Mary’s Cadogan Street, Chelsea.  Mass was celebrated by Bishop Gerard Bradley, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Southwark and Titular See of Beverley, the birthplace in Yorkshire of St John Fisher.

Following Mass the St Thomas More Circle enjoyed a reception in the church gardens lovingly cultivated by Father Shaun Middleton.  Lord Alton of Liverpool, former President of the Catholic Union, addressed the reception and spoke about legislation in Parliament including his Genocide Determination Bill.

The Catholic Union’s St Thomas More Circle was launched in 2018 to help provide essential financial support to the Catholic Union whose patron is St Thomas More.
